They Started Renewing Rainbow Street!

Yea, they started yesterday renewing Rainbow St. (in Jabal Amman).. While I was heading to my workplace, I found them closing the street and forbidding the cars from passing through it.. They started the campaign of renewing they announced about months ago.. The government's mentioned that they'll make the Rainbow St. a touristic place and there will be no more cars passing through it.. They have some nice ideas for the new street .. they will pave the whole street and place some seats for setting and they'll add a big wide screen for playing the old movies and the documentary videos about old Amman.. the big wide screen will be placed on the big building that contains the famous Rainbow Market.. they'll renew the buildings too and they'll make the appearance of the street more beautiful.. I read that it will take 3 months to complete this campaign and some says that it will be ready in the beginning of the new year 2008.. I think this would be more better for the street.. And it will increase the incomes of the shops owner in the street.. and the people will spend more beautiful time walking around.. 'cause there will be more cafes (more than the ones we already have) and there'll be many wonderful events around the year.. like JARA Market we already have.. For the people who don't know Jabal Amman! Jabal Amman is a very beautiful place which has so many good places to visit.. and it's a quite area at the night.. you'll love walking around the place especially at night..

Jabal Amman consists of 4 circles (some says the 5th circle is included) but you'll find the real Jabal Amman spirit beginning from the 4th circle and down to 1st circle.. Many famous and wealthy hotels in there like
Le Royal, Intercontinental Jordan, Hyatt and more... The 1st palace of the late King Al-Hussein is located in Rainbow St. near to Jordan River Foundation and Mango Palace.

The people of Jabal Amman is so nice and friendly and you'll be welcomed anytime you visit us to discover the places of Jabal Amman :) ..

Well! I seized the chance to take some pictures for the working place and the current situation of the street.

What a silly advertisement ideas they have!!

I've noticed that the new ads campaign of Bank of Jordan is so silly and makes no sense at all!! I'm sure that the marketing department they got there is so limited with the creative advertisement ideas so they applies such new advertisement campaign!! I just wanna know if this useless advertisements will bring any body's attention for the services of the bank, it will only bring the minds to think about the much of stupidity the marketing department has inside in the bank!

All the new ads in this campaign are telling that we have in Jordan very silly concerns and we have no worries but to make the color of our cars compatible with our shirts!! or any other useless concerns! I felt that the people of Jordan left all the life worries behind them and went to follow such silly worries! Wake up guys!! We have here in Jordan many families are searching for food and for a place to sleep safely! and only a little part of community who are the same of your silly guys in the ads!! So I'm telling the marketing department to find another marketing idea for a well-known bank in Jordan, 'cause such advertisements show a bad view of the bank in general!

The 2nd Day of AmmanNet's Broadcast Training Course ..

Today was the 2nd day of
AmmanNet's Broadcast Training Course .. This day was a-full-of-work-day .. We had many things to do .. At first we got separated into groups .. I was in group #6 (My bad luck!) .. Every group had a task of creating a radio program, there were no specific topics! so we can choose any topic we want .. I suggested for my group to create a program about blogs, blogging, bloggers, And I was totally SHOCKED when I heard them replying "WHAT'S A BLOG??!" .. I told them never mind I'll tell you what is a Blog! and I started telling them about blogs and blogging .. So they were happy for hearing such a speech .. and they told me "Let's get into the work!" .. We started scaling our ideas about how the program would be! I suggested many ideas such talking about the famous blogs in Jordan, and about hosting a blogger in every episode .. We put everything in points .. And then started writing the starting speech and the conversations we're gonna start in the program, We wrote also about the news of blogs, One hour & half ago .. We were preparing our selves for making our written words a real radio program .. There were some kind of a competition between the groups .. After all groups had presented their programs, We had to vote for the best group .. Group #7 was the 1st winner .. because they really done a great work, We took the 4th rank in the competition (What a shame!) .. Then Mr. Hazem Al-Thalji thanked all the groups for their nice work .. And he gave us some notes to be more better next times .. That was all the important events in this day .. I've took some photos for the activities but I wasn't lucky for having that chance for taking photos .. Anyway today was another beautiful day in my life and I enjoyed it so .. Wait for me for the 3rd day in that course .. Best Wishes ..

Today was the first day of the training course, Mr. Hazem Al-Thalji the project holder & organizer talked today about many interesting subjects in broadcasting domain .. I liked the symposium so much it was very useful and there were many information I've learned .. and in the same time it was a funny & a very good experience .. The training course will remain till the 4th of February and we will learn many new things everyday and we will be in the scene of being behind the microphone & the mixer also :) .. I didn't have that chance of taking that much of photos .. but I'll care of keeping you up-to-dated in the latest news of the training course ..
