Wild Jordan - a city retreat for nature lovers

Good evening,

I'm back with the 2nd episode of my series: "If you were in Jabal Amman, You have to see!",

Today was a shiny day so I was happy all the time .. And I wanted this episode to be an excellent and exciting one, I changed my clothes & took my K800i phone & headed directly to Wild Jordan, It’s about 500 meters far of my house .. So I walked to there and once I arrived I asked the Reception girl if it’s possible to take snapshots for the place & take some brochures to prepare my review .. She was so hospitable with me and told that I can photograph all the place except the nature shop .. I thanked her & started my journey in the place .. I opened the lens cover of my phone’s camera and start taking snapshots for many interesting features there .. After about 20 minutes of walking and taking snapshots I took two brochures and thanked the staff there then I left the place heading to my home .. I’ve quoted some information about the center from the brochures for you and here they’re:

Where is it?

Wild Jordan is in Jebel Amman, one of capital’s oldest neighborhoods. It will be a hub for those who want to know more about the city’s history and explore its old areas.

Perched high above the old city, it is one of the few locations that offers panoramic views across the Umayyad and Roman ruins of Jeb el Qala. It is also a brilliant place to see the famous Jordan flag.

It can be reached via Rainbow Street from First Circle as shown on the map.

Who has created Wild Jordan?

Wild Jordan is the vision of the Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature (RSCN), a non-governmental organization devoted to the care and protection of Jordan’s natural heritage. The Society was created in 1966 under the patronage of His Majesty, the late King Hussein, Its work is focused on the establishment of protected areas (nature reserves), enforcement of wildlife protection laws, socioeconomic development and environmental research and education.

Al-Quds Falafel

One of the places that serves the most delicious falafel in Jordan, It’s a small restaurant selling unbelievable falafel sandwiches.. When you start eating a falafel sandwich from there.. You wish that you’ll never finish eating it.. It has a special falafel ingredients which was mixed by its owner “Abu Adeeb”.. He has his own secrets of making the falafel tastes So Delicious!!

The Sandwich contains 3 or 4 pieces of falafel with fresh tomatoes with em5allal: P (acetified cucumbers) and some great garlic sauce! And if you want to make it perfect! Ask the guys there to add some chili powder to your sandwich.. The restaurant sells falafel sandwiches only. And it has never sold the falafel pieces alone .. You may taste one or two pieces for free .. But you can’t bring your family some to taste it .. That’s their policy :( ..

Al-Quds Falafel took No.1 in serving falafel sandwiches in Jordan .. And many important characters from various countries came to taste its great falafel .. The restaurant sells about 3 tons of falafel a month :| .. And It’s really a great place to visit in Jabal Amman..
